Here are facts about Addison Township
Will somebody please tell Democrat Party Chairman Bob Peickert that the election is over? In his June 10 letter he continued to berate my wife for winning her election for the third time. While he used the word "facts," I didn't see any in his letter. His typical Democratic spin however was once again evident.
By spin I mean his constant denial of his being found guilty by the Illinois Board of Elections. So to set the record straight I have posted the actual letter Peickert received from the IBE on our Web site www.addisontwpgop.com. If he wishes to continue denying his guilt after this I will post another finding by the IBE, which will also show that his appeal to these charges was denied.
His letter was so discombobulated it is hard to cover it all in this small space. And since he never attended an Addison Township meeting in the past 10 years to learn the truth, here are the facts: He falsely stated that Addison Township only allows "a paltry sum of $5,000 for its food pantry" and that "an appointment had to be made to get one bag of food per month." Unbelievable. The truth is the township gives out 75 bags of food per week at an average retail cost per bag of $25. So Peickert's one-bag-a-month lie is in reality more than 1,500 bags at a cost of more than $37,000 in the last five months of this year alone.
Peickert should volunteer for one week at the food pantry so he can count the bags himself.
And instead of writing fraudulent letters to the newspapers about my wife, he should be writing to his fellow Democrats who control the state and question why we are $12 billion in debt.
