Music on Stage romps through Tony Award-winning musical '1776'

Music On Stage's production of the musical "1776" is back on the stage this weekend at Cutting Hall, 150 E. Wood St., in Palatine. Historically accurate, this Tony Award-winning musical takes place in the months just before the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Show times are 8 p.m. April 23, 24 and 25; and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 26.

Get ticket information from the Box Office, (847) 202-5222, or by clicking the "Tickets" tab at www.musiconstage.org. A dinner/theater package is also available with Vince's Italian Restaurant in Palatine.

Special ticket pricing is available on April 23 for amateur theater participants: $17.76 for all actors and actresses who provide a head shot/resume and all theater staff and technical participants who provide a program or playbill. Junior high and high school students also pay $17.76 with current student I.D. Special pricing is for purchases made the hour before this Thursday performance only.
