Antioch's Danna homers twice
Andy Danna played longball.

The senior hit 2 home runs and drove in 5 runs, as Antioch's baseball team shut out host Round Lake 11-0 in North Suburban Prairie Division action Wednesday.
Antioch (3-5, 2-1) also got big games from Zach Moser (3-for-3, 2 RBI), Joe Gregory (2-for-3, double, 2 RBI) and Brett Prather (2-for-3). Moser pitched a five-inning complete game, striking out nine and walking one.
Lake Zurich 4, Warren 2: Tanner Witt had his best outing of the year, coach Gary Simon said, scattering 2 hits while striking out five and allowing no earned runs in 6 2/3 innings.
Visiting Lake Zurich improved to 8-5-1 and 3-0 in the North Suburban Lake Division.
Sam Aslan tripled in the first and scored Lake Zurich's first run on Witt's RBI groundout. Chas Evans delivered a two-out, 2-run single in the fifth to hike the Bears' lead to 4-1.
Evans and Aslan each had 2 hits, while Parker Asmann got the final out on a strikeout to earn the save.
Warren (5-5) got a single and an RBI from Ryan Economos. Chad Johnson took the loss, despite yielding just 1 earned run over 5 innings.
Lakes 4, Grayslake Central 3: Tim Ryan earned his second complete-game win in a row, as the Eagles cooled off the Rams.
Lakes (6-4) scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to break a 2-2 tie. Both runs scored on an infield error.
Paul Kukulka was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored for the Eagles, while Eric Lopez had an RBI single.
Grayslake Central fell to 8-4.
Stevenson 2, Zion-Benton 1: Scott Firth went the distance on the mound, allowing just 2 hits while striking out eight and walking two.
Firth (3-0) did not allow an earned run, as Stevenson improved to 9-1.
Libertyville 2, Lake Forest 1: Troy Barton pitched a 3-hitter with 7 strikeouts.
Mike Styler went 2-for-2 with a double for Libertyville (7-3).
Grayslake North 9, Vernon Hills 8: Nate Moraton was 5-for-5 for the Cougars, who gave up 13 hits to the visiting Knights in the nonconference game.
Prairie Ridge 4, Mundelein 0: The Mustangs had just 4 hits, as they were shut out for the first time this season.
Mundelein, which fell to 9-2, got a double from Tyler Adams.
Grant 8, Waukegan 6: Nate Lucas went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, as Grant battled back from a 5-2 deficit after three innings.
Ryan Magnuson was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI for Grant (3-5-1) and Jeremy Wiker had a hit and 2 RBI, as well. Ryan Thorsen picked up his second win of the year, striking out eight.
