St. Charles
• Morgan Jean Abrams, 18, of the 300 block of Springhill Drive in Roselle, was charged April 5 with retail theft, according to a police report. Abrams attempted to steal three shirts with a total value of about $92 from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St.
• Yesica Isabel Cabrera, 19, of the 1070 block of Mark Street, South Elgin; and Rogelio Macias, 20, of the 1400 block of Indiana Street, were arrested on April 7, according to police. Cabrera had an outstanding warrant for driving without a license, driving without insurance and improper lane usage. Macias was charged with underage drinking. A third person, Robert J. Fernandez, 26, was issued a citation for illegal transportation of open alcohol after he was found passed out in the back seat of Cabrera's car with a case of beer between his legs and an open can of beer next to his foot.
• Amanda Michelle Crawford, 19, of the 700 block of Colorado Court, Carol Stream, was charged April 7 with retail theft, according to a police report. Crawford was caught attempting to steal a $30 pair of Elle sunglasses and a $32 shirt from Kohl's, 3840 E. Main St.
• A gym bag and a white purse with brown handles containing a Chase Bank checkbook and a wallet with credit cards and various identification were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of South 5th Street between April 6 and 7, according to a police report.
Kane County
• Four car tires were reported flattened Sunday on the 200 block of Galena Boulevard, Big Rock Township, according to a police report.
• An estimated $3,900 in jewelry was reported stolen Tuesday from a residence on the 10N800 block of Hidden Lakes Drive, Plato Township, according to police.
• A Magellan GPS and an MP3 player, valued at $650 total, were reported stolen Tuesday from a vehicle on the 7N000 block of Cary Street, St. Charles Township, according to a police report.
Geneva
• A wallet containing a credit card and $130 was stolen out of a Jeep Wrangler between 7:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. April 9 while it was parked in a driveway in the 400 block of Logan Avenue, according to a police report.
• A clay flowerpot was tipped over and cracked, and a cement lawn ornament was tipped over and broken at its base, between 2 and 9 a.m. Tuesday in a yard in the 100 block of North Fourth St., according to police.
• A resident of the 2500 block of Kaneville Road reported his garage door opener and a Garmin Nuvi GPS unit were taken out of his unlocked vehicle while he was using it to attend Mass and run errands between 8 and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Geneva and St. Charles, according to police.
