Zach Liebman allowed just 5 hits and had 6 strikeouts and no walks as Huntley (4-0-1) rolled to a 14-1 nonconference baseball win over Richmond-Burton Friday.

Craig Lipp had a double and an RBI for the Red Raiders while Chris Klein and Matt Wolf each drove in 2 runs. Nathan Sopewa added a home run and 3 RBI and Tanner Funke had 2 hits.

Conant 3, South Elgin 0: The Storm fell to 2-3 on the season with this nonconference loss. Drew Buddle (0-2) suffered the defeat on the mound, but the Storm did get 4 innings of scoreless relief from Ben Irving. Junior Brandon Stevens had 2 hits and Buddle added a double for South Elgin.

CL South 8, Antioch 5: Ian Gardeck struck out 10 and allowed just 4 hits as Crystal Lake South moved to 3-1 with this nonconference win. Josh Ruck picked up the save for the Gators and Gavin Meyer had a double.
