Anderson, Sbertoli, Rivera and Shimanek for Fenton Dist. 100

In Fenton High School District 100, five candidates are competing for four available seats.

Incumbents Mimi Anderson and David Sbertoli, both of Wood Dale, are well-versed and enthusiastic representatives who take their commitment to the taxpayers and the students seriously. We endorse both for re-election.

David Shimanek of Wood Dale is a strong candidate who has done his homework and wants to make a difference in the lives of students.

Mary Rivera, the only Bensenville resident on the ballot, is a Fenton graduate and parent who wants to make her alma mater better. She is getting up to speed on the issues and isn't afraid to speak up for what she believes is right.

David Vogel, also a Wood Dale resident and Fenton graduate, comes to the race with pure intentions. But he just isn't quite up to speed on the issues or on the duties of the school board member's job.

We endorse Rivera and Shimanek and encourage Vogel to continue attending meetings and volunteer for a committee assignment next time one comes available.
