Mundelein's Rohan nets 2 over Glenbard South

Molly Rohan took care of the scoring for Mundelein's girls soccer team.

Rohan scored both goals in the Mustangs' 2-1 win over Glenbard South in the Lake Park tournament Saturday. Kim Carroll and Ashley Begrowicz had assists for Mundelein (3-0-1).

Lake Zurich 2, Elk Grove 1: The Bears won the Pepsi Showdown game in penalty kicks, after Jenna Therrien scored their only goal in regulation off an assist from Stacy Sanders.

In the PK round, Lake Zurich (2-1) got goals from Brittani Ford, Maisie Cox, Josie Williams, Danielle Rowan, Hailey Chmela and Therrien.

Bears keeper Maggie Eisenhuth stopped 2 shots in PKs.
