Senior all-star game at Niles North

Cully Payne of Schaumburg, Brandon Paul of Warren and Drew Crawford of Naperville Central are among the players expected to compete in the 2009 Chicago High School Classic boys basketball senior all-star game April 3 at Niles North High School.

The game starts at 8 p.m., preceded by a slam-dunk contest and CN100 3-point Shootout at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for high school students with an ID and high school coaches, $5 for kids under 14. Senior citizens and kids under 5 are free.

Payne and Paul will be playing for the North team that includes Waukegan's Colin Nickerson, Zion-Benton's Ronald Steward, North Lawndale's Jonathan Mills and Sterling's Joseph Bertrand, who is headed to Illinois.

Crawford will play for the South team, whose roster is expected to include Bolingbrook's Diamond Taylor (Bolingbrook), Champaign Centennial's James Kinney (Ohio) and Richards' Shaun Pratl (Eastern Illinois).
