You either have a degree or you don't

I received a campaign flier from the Township Citizen's Party in Vernon Township.

Under Barbra Barnabee it states "attended University of Illinois." What does that mean? Does it mean that that person running for office feels that the job requires a college degree and they are to embarrassed to say that they do not have one?

Most political jobs do not require a college degree and this one does not need one so why would someone say "I attended a university?" Was this for half a course or one day or what?

The other people running on this ticket do not say "attended." If you did not finish college then you do not need to list that you showed up.
