Dist. 211 appoints new school board member
Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 board members have appointed Schaumburg resident Theresa Tracy to fill the board seat left vacant by the death last month of Susan Kenley-Rupnow.
Tracy has been a resident of the district for the past 12 years and is the mother of a Hoffman Estates High School graduate. She has been active in the community with the area YWCA and YMCA and works as a personnel and outreach coordinator at the University of Illinois Extension.
The board received 15 applications for the position and all 15 were interviewed.
Tracy will take the oath of office at the next board meeting at 7:30 p.m. April 9 at the G.A. McElroy Administration Center.
