•Joshua N. Wilson, 18, of the 300 block of Gierz Street, Downers Grove, was arrested around 3:20 a.m. Feb. 28 on the 0-100 block of Ferndale Road and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is March 18.
Grayslake
•Vandals scratched the rear hatch on a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer in a driveway on the 18300 block of Grand Drive between 6 and 7 p.m. Feb. 23. Damage was estimated at $200.
Gurnee
•Carolee Bildsten, 55, of the 700 block of Chandler Road, Gurnee, was arrested around 8:50 a.m. March 3 at her home and charged with local ordinance theft after she took $200 from a female victim.
•Vandals spray-painted graffiti on a 2003 Toyota Highlander at a home on the 17500 block of Horseshoe Lane March 1.
Kildeer
•Kenyada M. McCraven, 23, of the 2400 block of Randell Lane, Arlington Heights, was arrested around 12:20 a.m. March 2 on the 20900 block of Rand Road and charged with possession of marijuana. His court date is March 20.
Lake Zurich
•Henryk Antoni Kolasa, 51, of the 0-100 block of Terrace Lane, Lake Zurich, was arrested around 3:55 p.m. March 5 outside a business at 485 Ela Road and charged with disorderly conduct for drinking beer. His court date is April 3.
•Brendan J. Peterson, 20, of the 1100 block of Thornwood Court, Lake Zurich, and Thomas S. Scalzitti, 20, of the 1100 block of Berkshire Lane, Lake Zurich, were arrested around 4 a.m. March 6 on the 200 block of South Buesching Road and charged with possession of marijuana. Peterson also was charged with traffic violations, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Their court date is April 6.
Lincolnshire
•Thieves stole the identity of a resident on Plymouth Court and used it to open an online financial loan. The theft was reported at 5 p.m., March 4. No value estimate was available.
•Thieves stole a purse from a business at City Park on Parkway Drive. The theft was reported at 1:20 p.m., March 6. The victim said her purse was stolen from the back of her chair at a restaurant. No value estimate was available.
•Thieves smashed windows of two vehicles parked in the lot of 25 Tri-State and removed electronic devices and other personal items. The thefts were reported at 5 p.m., March 6. No value estimate was available.
Round Lake Beach
•Tara N. Karpp, 28, of the 1100 block of Morningside Drive, Round Lake Beach, and Vernon T. Randolph, 20, of the 2000 block of Westview Lane, Round Lake Beach, were arrested following the execution of a search warrant at Karpp's home around 12:05 a.m. Feb. 25. Karpp was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia; Randolph was charged with possession of marijuana.
Juhi Varma, 39, of the 600 block of South Rosehall, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 9:35 a.m. Feb. 26 at Kohl's, 230 E. Rollins Road, and charged with retail theft.
Vernon Hills
•Fausto Sosa-Miguel, 32, of the 500 block of Lakehurst, Waukegan, was arrested Feb. 28 at Macy's in Westfield Hawthorn Mall and charged with retail theft after he took clothes valued at $138. His court date is March 23.
Wauconda
•Greer G. Lally, 22, of the 1000 block of Madison Avenue, Wauconda, was arrested around 1:15 a.m. Feb. 28 on the 100 block of North Main Street and charged with failure to give aid/information and obstructing a police officer after a hit-and-run accident. His court date is March 19.
