Grayslake

•Christopher D. McGaha, 17, of the 600 block of South Rose Hall, Round Lake, was arrested Feb. 22 at Grayslake High School, 400 N. Lake St., and charged with criminal trespass and criminal damage to property. His court date is March 25.

Gurnee

•Melvin Santiago, 19, of the 4100 block of Greenleaf Court, Park City, was arrested around 12:30 a.m. Feb. 23 by North Chicago officers and charged with criminal damage after he shattered a car window on the 1600 block of Dolcetto Lane.

•Thieves stole a cell phone valued at $400 at Warren Township High School, 34090 N. Almond Road, between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Feb. 24.

Hawthorn Woods

•Ann Marie A. Schaurer, 33, of the 24N100 block of Forest Drive, Lake Zurich, was arrested around 12:05 a.m. Feb. 14 at Fairfield and West Old McHenry roads and charged with possession of a controlled substance, felony enhanced driving under the influence, and a traffic violation.

Lake Zurich

•Octaviano Castillo, 21, of the 900 block of Country Club Road, Lake Zurich, was arrested around 3:15 p.m. Feb. 24 after a traffic stop on Route 22 at Buesching Road and charged with possession of marijuana and traffic violations. His court date is March 10.

Mundelein

•Kyle C. Steelman, 23, of the 1300 block of West Maple Avenue, Mundelein, and Jason E. Florek, 29, of the 500 block of North Lake Street, Mundelein, were arrested around 7:20 p.m. Feb. 20 on Route 45 at Woodlawn Drive. Steelman was charged with a traffic violation and possession of marijuana. Florek was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Their court date is March 13.

Round Lake

•Armando R. Rivas, 19, of the 1400 block of Prescott Drive, Volo, Jessica M. Draper, 17, of the 200 block of Norwell Lane, Round Lake, and Patricia V. Villasana, 18, of the 37200 block of North Route 59, Lake Villa, were arrested around 10:45 p.m. Feb. 19 at Nippersink and Wilson roads. Rivas was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing a peace officer and traffic violations. Draper was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco by a minor. Villasana was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer. Their court date is March 24.

Round Lake Beach

•Vandals smashed windows on four vehicles on the 1100 and 1400 blocks of Brentwood Drive, 1500 block of Woodridge Drive, and 1300 block of Pine Grove Drive overnight Feb. 20-21.

Vernon Hills

•Daniel Brisal, 17, of the 900 block of Orchard, Mundelein, was arrested Feb. 21 after a traffic accident at Greggs and Lakeview parkways and charged with a traffic violation and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is March 16.

•Vadim Y. Plavnik, 40, of the 8000 block of Insignia Court, Long Grove, was arrested Feb. 24 at Best Buy, 701 N. Milwaukee Ave., and charged with retail theft and forgery after he printed 390 fraudulent $20 reward certificates and used them to make purchases at various stores throughout the Midwest.

Wauconda

•Someone burglarized a vehicle at Mid America Tow, 950 N. Rand Road, overnight Feb. 20-21.
