Bartlett
• Piotr S. Osinski, 28, of the 1300 block of Exeter Court, Wheeling, was arrested Jan. 26 on the 200 block of South Main Street and charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
• Gino R. Ucci, 45, of the 3100 block of Blackhawk Trail, Bartlett, was arrested around 4:45 p.m. Feb. 16 at Villa Olivia, 1401 W. Lake St., and charged with battery. His court date is April 4.
• Alissa M. Malek, 26, of the 2000 block of Norwich Drive, Bartlett, was arrested around 7:15 a.m. Feb. 17 at her home and charged with possession of marijuana. Her court date is March 3.
• Rachel Schmidt, 22, of the 200 block of Lake Street, St. Charles, was arrested around 4:10 a.m. Feb. 21 at Lake Street and Naperville Road and charged with disobeying a police officer, driving under the influence and traffic violations. Her court date is April 6.
• Manuel Ramirez, 24, of the 1500 block of Indian Street, St. Charles, was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 22 at 1175 W. Lake St. and charged with criminal trespass and two counts of battery. His court date is April 6.
• Vandals smashed the rear window on a vehicle on Fourth Avenue between 7:30-8:30 p.m. Feb. 20; damage was estimated at $300.
• Someone stole a $350 cell phone out of a backpack in the library at Bartlett High School around 10 a.m. Feb. 20.
• Two generators valued at $1,080 were stolen out of a shed in the backyard at a home on Lamont Parkway Feb. 20.
Hanover Park
• A 1996 Chevrolet Blazer left unlocked with the engine running outside a home on the 7600 block of Bristol was stolen around 11:20 a.m. Feb. 23.
• A laptop computer was stolen out of a home on the 2100 block of Arbor Vitae on an unknown date but reported Feb. 22.
• Manuel Juarez, 19, of the 2500 block of Mark Thomas Lane, Hanover Park, was arrested around 10:45 p.m. Feb. 22 at Barrington Road and Walnut and charged with local ordinance unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
• Marcus Salerno, 29, of the 900 block of Cuyahoga Drive, Bartlett, was arrested around 3:25 a.m. Feb. 22 on the 1800 block of Ontarioville Road and charged with illegal transportation of alcohol.
• Jason Miner, 22, of the 400 block of Knoll Crest Drive, Bartlett, was arrested around 4:45 p.m. Feb. 21 on the 1800 block of Ontarioville Road and charged with local ordinance possession of marijuana.
• Playground equipment on the 2000 block of Camden was vandalized with graffiti around 1 p.m. Feb. 19.
Hoffman Estates
• Matthew Cody Prima, 19, of the 2100 block of Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at the police department and charged with aggravated battery; police say he pushed an officer. His court date is April 1.
• Nikolis Dean Thurnau, 20, of the 600 block of Shennandoah Trail, Elgin, was arrested around 12:45 a.m. Feb. 24 at the police department and charged with two counts of battery; police say he punched two men in the face on the 2800 block of Greenspoint Parkway. His court date is March 20.
• Brian C. Hernandez, 20, of the 700 block of Mohican Trail, Lake in the Hills, and Heinz M. Templemann, 18, of the 900 block of Twisted Oak, Algonquin, were arrested around 2 a.m. Feb. 21 at Route 72 and Roselle Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Templemann also was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, and a traffic violation. Their court date is March 18.
• A 2007 Dodge sedan on the 900 block of Patriot Lane was vandalized overnight Feb. 20-Feb. 21; damage was estimated at $250.
• Burglars stole a purse out of an unlocked 2007 Honda CR-V on the 1800 block of Marquette Lane between 10-10:05 a.m. Feb. 22. The loss was estimated at $795.
Schaumburg
• Jessica P. Rogers, 23, of the 0-100 block of Kristen Circle, Schaumburg, was arrested around 1 a.m. Feb. 20 at a bar on the 1700 block of West Wise Road, and charged with battery; police say she threw beer in a woman's face and sprayed her with mace. A court date is March 30.
• Yessica Velez, 17, of the 2300 block of Goodspeed Lane, Schaumburg, and Miguel Ramirez, 17, of the 0-100 block of Arrowwood Court, Streamwood, were arrested Feb. 20 and charged with retail theft from Macy's in Woodfield Mall. A court date is March 6.
• Guillermo Archer, 32, whose last known address was on the 1700 block of Ardwick Drive, Hoffman Estates, was arrested around 1 a.m. Feb. 21 on the 1300 block of East Remington Road and charged with battery; police say he hit a man above his left eye with a beer bottle. A court date is April 7.
• Jacqueline A. Zimmerman, 19, of the 1300 block of North Peartree Lane, Mount Prospect, and Tasha S. Lambroplos, 18, of the 1300 block of Mulberry Lane, Mount Prospect, were arrested Feb. 20 and charged with retail theft from Macy's in Woodfield Mall. A court date is April 7.
• Someone stole a wallet out of a woman's purse while she waited in the lobby of a restaurant at Woodfield Mall around 6:15 p.m. Feb. 20. Total loss was estimated at $242.
• A 1997 Ford Escort on the 1100 block of Westover Lane was vandalized between 1:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Feb. 20; damage was estimated at $600. It was the second time the car's tires were slashed in that same lot; the first time was Feb. 14.
• Someone broke into a 2008 Chevrolet van on the 0-100 block of Kristin Circle between 9-10 p.m. Feb. 20 and stole power tools valued at $2,500.
Streamwood
• Alejandro R. Silva, 41, of the 0-100 block of Austin, Carpentersville, was arrested around 3:50 p.m. Feb. 20 outside a store on the 0-100 block of East Irving Park Road and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A woman accompanied by two children stole a double stroller valued at $150 from Once Upon a Child, 1000 S. Barrington Road, around 3:40 p.m. Feb. 23. Police said she paid for other merchandise and when questioned about the stroller told the clerk she had come into the store with it.
• A 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on the 500 block of Robinhood Drive was broken into between 5:45-6:30 p.m. Feb. 23 and stole a GPS unit.
• A Streamwood woman responded to a mystery shopper advertisement and received a check for $2,000. She was told to deposit the check, spend a small amount at various locations and wire the remainder to a Jamie Cox in Branchville, N.J., all within six hours. She took the check - from L&B Enterprises out of Bayshore, N.Y., and drawn on a Wachovia bank account in Marlton, N.J. - to her bank Feb. 20 and tried to cash it but discovered it was fraudulent.
