Hitch a ride to the Carybbean fundraiser

Stop shoveling and cruise over to the "Carybbean" instead!

Join the Cary 26 Education Foundation at its annual spring fundraising event, "Cruising in the Carybbean," from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at D'Andrea Banquets. Tickets are $40. Purchase eight tickets and they will reserve a table for you and your guests. Deadline to purchase tickets is Saturday, Feb. 21. There will be beach inspired food, live music from the "Beach Bum Band," a silent auction featuring priceless items such as "Principal for the Day" at District 26 schools, and a raffle for diamond pendant necklace.

Proceeds will benefit all District 26 students as they upgrade every school to wireless technology. The foundation is proud to support District 26's ongoing efforts to upgrade technology to support student learning. Also, additional proceeds from this event will benefit District 26 students in the form of grants, sponsorships, educational trips, and more. The foundation has awarded more than $22,000 in grants to date that have directly impacted the students of District 26. The Cary 26 Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization with an overall mission of enriching and extending the quality of education. The foundation relies entirely on generous contributions to support enrichment programs and carry on its mission.
