South Elgin wins 7th straight

South Elgin 65, Marian Central 43: Becca Smith led a balanced South Elgin attack with 15 points and Gen Johnson added 13 as the Storm (17-7) won for the seventh straight time in this nonconference game. Cortney Kumerow and Sarah Havemann added 8 points each for South Elgin.

Jacobs 52, Woodstock 42: A 17-point showing from Keri Bultman led Jacobs (17-8, 6-2) to this 10-point Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win. Maria Tamburrino chipped in with 15 points.

Huntley 48, Crystal Lake Central 27: Holding Crystal Lake Central to just one first quarter point, Huntley (15-10, 7-1) jumped ahead early en route to this Fox Valley Conference Fox Division win. With a career-high 17 points, Hillary Johnson led the attack. Johnson added 7 rebounds, and Carly Goede (8 points) contributed.
