Fox Valley roundup: Hampshire, Jacobs win

Chrissy Heine scored 18 points as Hampshire (10-1) rolled to a 49-27 win over Harlem Thursday night in the second round of the Harlem Holiday Invite.

Alex Dumoulin had 12 points and 9 rebounds for the Whip-Purs, who are scheduled to play Rock Falls in round three of the tourney tonight.

Jacobs 48, Belvidere North 28: In round two at the Harlem Holiday Invite the Golden Eagles (9-2), led by Hailey Cnota's 11 points, defeated Belvidere North. Keri Bultman added 9 points while teammate Maria Tamburrino contributed 7 points for Jacobs, which is scheduled to play Rockford Auburn tonight.

Mundelein 72, Dundee-Crown 35: The Chargers fell short against Mundelein in nonconference action. Despite the loss Lindsay Mosher contributed a team-high 10 points for D-C. Alex Lococo (7 points) and Jill Gantz (6 points) each added to the board for Dundee-Crown (2-9).
