Local high school teams to play at the United Center

The Chicago Bulls "Preps with Pros" program will tip-off its seventh season this month with a 12-game schedule featuring several local high school basketball teams from the Daily Herald area.

Each of the selected teams will get to play a game on the Bulls' United Center court while raising funds through ticket sales for their schools. Twelve regular-season basketball games featuring 22 schools are planned from Dec. 31 through Feb. 28, including boys teams from Kaneland, Geneva, Palatine, Vernon Hills and Prospect high schools.

"Preps with Pros" allows schools to purchase Bulls tickets at a discount and resell them at face value for fundraising. The purchased tickets serve as admission to the schools' afternoon or morning game and the Bulls' home contest on that date.
