Jacobs boys fall 74-68 in season opener

After taking an early lead, the Jacobs boys basketball team fell behind by as many as 17 points Thursday night and fell to Bartonville Limestone 74-68 in the opening round of the Quincy Thanksgiving Tournament.

Limestone is ranked No. 10 in Class 3A.

Conrad Krutwig led the Golden Eagles in their season opener, scoring 25 points. Tim Moran added 16 and Mike Barch 14 for Jacobs.
