Chiropractor helps food pantry at blood drive

The Lake in the Hills Rotary Club will hold a blood drive from 1-7 p.m. today at village hall, 600 Harvest Gate.

At the same time, Dr. Robert Hollett from County Line Chiropractic will be there all day accepting food donations that the firm will forward to the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Food Pantry.

If you can't make it today, you can always drop nonperishables off at the doctor's office, located at 1493 Merchant Drive in Algonquin.

You'll get 10 percent off - for every item of food you bring in - that you can use toward purchasing merchandise, including supplements, mouth guards, pillows and anything else sold at the office.

You're limited to 40 percent.

For more information, call County Line Chiropractic at (847) 658-6500.

It's a natural thing: The Algonquin Parks and Recreation Department recently held a photo contest meant to highlight nature in the area.
