Help the VFW help our local military
VFW Post 5151 in Streamwood is asking the public to help raise money for the care packages they send to soldiers overseas and for the assistance they provide to military families here at home.
The VFW post raises money through its Thursday and Sunday Bingo Nights (and Days), but a serious lack of players is putting the projects in jeopardy.
Come play Bingo at 6 p.m. Thursdays and 1 p.m. Sundays at the VFW Hall, 341 S. Bartlett Road in Streamwood. Also, if you have a loved one stationed overseas who would like a care package, send their name to the VFW, P.O. Box 09, Streamwood. Call (630) 483-0055 for details on Bingo or anything else about the post.
