•Thieves cut a tow chain with bolt cutters Nov. 2 or 3 and stole an aluminum plank out of an open garage on the 40600 block of Route 83. Total loss was estimated at $900.
Grayslake
•Mona E. Duckwiller, 43, 142 Fandel Drive, East Peoria, was arrested Nov. 1 on the 100 block of North Lake Street and charged with theft and criminal trespass to land. Her court date is Nov. 24.
Gurnee
•Sally J. Tollefson, 34, 2801 W. Glen Flora Ave., Apt. 301, Waukegan, was arrested around 7:50 p.m. Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shop, 6112 Route 132, and charged with retail theft. A court date was not available.
Hawthorn Woods
•Thieves stole a case of beer around 5 p.m. Oct. 31 out of a garage on the 0-100 block of Croydon Road. A value estimate was not available.
Lake Zurich
•Vandals stole the mailbox at a home on the 800 block of Harvest Drive, and broke the mailbox post at two homes on the 300 block of Stone Avenue and 700 block of Warwick Lane overnight Nov. 3-4. Total damage was estimated at $300.
Mundelein
•Nicole C. Berglund, 24, 209 N. Garfield Ave., Mundelein, was arrested around 2:20 a.m. Oct. 31 on the 400 block of North Lake Street after an officer found her intoxicated, sitting in a car and refusing to leave. Her court date is Nov. 20.
Round Lake
•Bradley S. Gordon, 19, 7500 N. Elmhurst Road, Des Plaines, and Korey D. Greenlee, 19, and Michael E. Akers, 23, both of 247 N. Cedar Lake Road, Round Lake, were arrested around 9:40 p.m. Nov. 1 at 247 N. Cedar Lake Road. Gordon was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, and Akers was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor; their court date is Nov. 25. Greenlee was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor, and a court date is Dec. 1.
Round Lake Beach
•Byron B. Booth, 21, 123 Geneva Terrace, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 8:15 p.m. Oct. 28 and charged with aggravated battery and criminal trespass after he entered an unlocked car on the 100 block of Highland Terrace and cut a man's hand with a pocket knife. A court date was not available.
Vernon Hills
•Ashley M. Spulak, 24, 604 Geneva Court, Indian Creek, was arrested Oct. 30 at Lifetime Fitness, 680 Woodlands Parkway, and charged with theft after she took a co-worker's purse. Her court date is Nov. 18.
•Kyle R. Ziolko, 21, 520 First View, Lindenhurst, was arrested Nov. 1 at Dominick's, 290 E. Hawthorn Village, and Francoise P. Flanagan, 65, 911 Suffolk, Libertyville, was arrested Nov. 1 at Wal-Mart, 555 Townline Road. They were charged with sale of tobacco to a minor after both sold cigarettes to an underage customer during a police check. Their court date is Nov. 24.

•Thieves stole a radio scanner around 9 a.m. Nov. 4 at the Citgo gas station, 1200 N. Rand Road. A value estimate was not available.
