Reboletti will continue work from first term in 46th District
Winning his second term representing the 46th District in the Illinois House, Republican Dennis Reboletti says he will continue advocating for measures that keep down taxes and stimulate the local economy.
With all 87 precincts reporting, unofficial totals show Reboletti, an Elmhurst attorney, took approximately 51 percent of the vote from first-time Democratic candidate Gary Nowak, an Elmhurst banker. Reboletti was elected to his first term in 2006 for the 46th District, which represents all or parts of Addison, Bensenville, Elmhurst, Itasca, Lombard, Villa Park and Wood Dale.
"I think the people of the 46th District want their leaders to be honest, work for a better economy and put people back to work," Reboletti said Tuesday night. "They're saying we'll continue to support you if you continue to provide good government."
Reboletti supports adding slot machines to race tracks and releasing the state's 10th gambling license for a casino in Rosemont, which his said will produce up to $1 billion in revenue for Illinois. To ease road congestion, he advocates for western access to O'Hare International Airport. Reboletti argues against raising income taxes and previously voted against such a measure that was introduced in the House.
