Nowak's the choice for cleaner act

Since Dennis Reboletti has decided to vote with the polluters, I will vote against him. He says he will vote against the Clean Cars Act, a bill that will save us all money at the pump, protect our health from the ravages of air pollution and deliver a better planet to our children.

Whether you drive a tiny Ford Focus or a large SUV, a cleaner, less polluting version of it already exists and is being sent to the 14 states that have passed the Clean Car Act. Reboletti has tried to cover his tracks on this issue by sending constituents a disingenuous letter that implies that these cars would cost consumers more. Besides inflating the extra upfront cost, his letter fails to mention that consumers will recoup that cost shortly by getting dramatically better gasoline mileage. If we pass the Clean Cars Act our cars will have higher fuel economy. We will have less asthma and other lung disease and we will create less carbon when we drive so we will leave a better planet to our children.

I am voting for Gary Nowak for the Illinois House, 46th district. He has committed to voting for the Clean Cars Act and other legislation that helps the people of his district. Reboletti votes with polluters and special interests. Reboletti has got to go.
