Forte-Scott is campaigning on the facts

The other day I received an automated call from Paul Froehlich in which he accused his opponent, Anita Forte-Scott, of being a liar. After listening to the recorded message and doing a little research of my own, it became obvious the only liar is Rep. Paul Froehlich.

In Paul's call he goes on to say that he did not vote to give illegal immigrants drivers licenses and that this is a national issue. Not only did he vote to give driving privileges to illegals TWICE (House Bill 129 - 94th General Assembly and House Bill 1100 - 95th General Assembly), he was a chief sponsor of the legislation only a year ago.

Obviously he does not think this is only a national issue if he sponsored the legislation in the Illinois State House of Representatives. This is just another clear example of Paul Froehlich trying to have it both ways, and as the Daily Herald pointed out in Anitas endorsement, Froehlich plays politics first.

During the call Froehlich also questioned Anita's experience. Paul's judgment is the only thing that needs to be questioned. If I remember correctly, Paul did not even need to prove his experience when he became state representative, because he underhandedly appointed himself to the position.

At least Anita Forte-Scott is working hard to showcase her credentials and allowing the voters to decide. If Paul Froehlich had it his way his record would never be vetted and everything would be handed to him on a silver platter.

Anita Forte-Scott is running a campaign on facts, while Paul Froehlich prefers to hide from the truth. Forte-Scott is the only honest choice for the 56th District.
