Froehlich out of touch with middle class
State Rep. Paul Froehlich felt the best way to get re-elected was to change parties. Paul's problem is not his party, but his priorities. He is clearly out of touch with the voters of the 56th District, as evident by his vote to end property tax breaks for homeowners and support of the highest sales tax in the nation.
As a Republican Froehlich voted to increase taxes; as a Democrat Froehlich voted to increase taxes. His party may have changed, but his support for the middle class is clearly still at the bottom of his agenda. It is time to send a fresh face to our state capitol, one who represents the everyday person and is not obligated to political leaders. Anita Forte-Scott will represent our priorities, while Paul Froehlich will continue to do the bidding of whichever party he chooses.
