Cary woman wins Toastmasters contest
Cary resident and Crystal Lake Toastmasters Club member Jennifer McAllister placed first in the Toastmasters International NW1 Area Evaluation Contest hosted Sept. 25 by the Crystal Lake Toastmasters Club. McAllister has been a member of the Crystal Lake Toastmasters Club since 2002.
McAllister went on to compete in the Toastmasters International Division Evaluation Contest on Oct. 4 at the Palatine Library.
The Crystal Lake Toastmasters Club is part of Toastmasters International, a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to providing opportunities, tools and support to improve your communication and leadership skills. The Crystal Lake Toastmasters Club meets from 8 to 10 a.m. the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of the month at the Crystal Lake Amcore Bank on Route 14. Visitors are welcome at all club meetings.
