Froehlich will help keep business here
When is this bad economy going to let up? I'm sick of it. I just read that only 17 percent of people used their stimulus checks for anything other than savings or paying back debt. We live in a good area, but this is still hitting us hard.
Where I work, there are dozens and dozens of people that have been pink-slipped. I'm scared for my job security and sympathize with friends who now have to face the shallow job market without a safety net.
Paul Froehlich and I were recently talking about how he is fighting for legislation to provide incentives for businesses that create and keep jobs in our area and our country. Paul has successfully fought for grants for small businesses, and he's helped small businesses provide health insurance for their employees - keeping our families secure. He also has a strong record of fighting tax increases and standing up to people like (Todd) Stroger who just don't seem to care how taxes hurt us.
I hope that people will see the good things that Rep. Paul Froehlich is doing in Springfield, and help him get re-elected. I think it's the best chance we have in this area of making it through this.
