Froehlich shows he's in touch

I am facing a lot of the same issues as many people in our area. I have been fighting to get back into the job market after being laid off. I know what it's like to worry about my budget, and at the same time, I keep true to my values of conserving resources for the best use of everyone.

I've known Paul Froehlich for several years and met up with him again this past year at a meeting of the local Sierra Club, where I am a member. Our local and state groups endorsed Paul's re-election because of his strong record of working to protect the environment for the entire time that he's been in the legislature. He's really shown his commitment to fighting for renewable energy sources to combat global warming, air pollution, and our dependence on foreign oil. He's led initiatives to test and control toxins in our drinking water, and he's been fighting to prevent chemical companies from dumping toxins into Lake Michigan.

Just last month, I saw Paul again at a local job fair. It's not a glamorous thing to admit, but it was wonderful to see him. I was so proud that our local legislator took time out of his schedule to attend the meeting and talk with local residents in search of work. It really shows that he's in touch with what's going on and staying connected to help make a real change.

I just wanted to let people know my experience with Paul Froehlich, because I was very impressed. I think he is the best person to help our area through the bad economy and to help us move forward in a safe and conscientious way.
