Two injured in Glendale Heights crash
One of the busiest intersections in Glendale Heights was closed Thursday morning after a four-car accident blocked Army Trail and Bloomingdale roads.
Police said a 31-year-old Glendale Heights man was driving north on Bloomingdale Road at 6:42 a.m. when he hit a curb and lost control of his car.
The man's vehicle then hit two cars stopped at the Army Trail Road traffic light, Glendale Heights Deputy Police Chief Tom Bialis said. One of the cars struck a vehicle in front of it.
The Glendale Heights man and a juvenile were transported to GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries. Bialis said an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
