CL South wins own invite
Hosting the Crystal Lake South Invitational, the Gators posted a perfect 3-0 record to win championship honors at home. South improved to 13-1 overall after posting a 5-0 win over Rockford Guilford, and a pair of 4-1 victories over Palatine and New Trier.
Alternating slots, Laura Roesslein, Rachel Boorom and Abby Kolarczyk each nabbed victories at No. 1 singles. Boorom, Stephanie Brunetti and Kelsey Harper each had wins at No. 2 singles. In doubles action, the Gators saw wins from Kolarczyk/Brunetti (No. 1 dubs), Roesslein/Liana Semchuk with two wins at No. 1 doubles, Harper/Semchuk (No. 2 dubs), Boorom/Harper (No. 2) and Kolarczyk/Brunetti at No. 2 doubles. Maryanne Piel/Ariel Stach captured a win at No. 3 doubles against Guilford.
