Cary chamber to host social

Tickets are now on sale for the second annual "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" event from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn, 800 Route 31. The event is hosted by the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets are $20 and include a free drink ticket, free gourmet appetizers, free wine tasting hosted by Five O'Clock Steakhouse from 7 to 8 p.m., free entertainment, shopping, cash bar and more.

The performers that night include two popular Neil Diamond and Patsy Cline tribute performers.

The Girls Night Out event will feature several local vendors with products and services geared for women. These vendors will be offering free giveaways and demonstrations all evening. There also will be free raffle prizes drawn all night long.

To purchase tickets, call the chamber at (847) 639-2800. Tickets must be purchased in advance. A ticket is required to enter the event. Get your tickets early - last year this event sold out.
