Crystal Lake motorcyclist hurt in wreck near Addison

One person was injured in an early morning motorcycle accident on I-355 near Addison Monday morning, officials said.
Brian Lucas, 28, of Crystal Lake was heading northbound on I-355 at 7:55 a.m. when he stopped suddenly to avoid traffic that had halted in front of him, said Master Sgt. Lance Powell of the Illinois State Police.
Powell said Lucas lost control of the motorcycle, flipped over his handlebars and landed on the ground. He was wearing a helmet, Powell said.
Lucas was taken from the scene to Adventist Glen Oaks Hospital in Glendale Heights with non-life threatening injuries to his wrist and shoulder, Powell said.
