Bartlett

• A vehicle at the Villa Olivia Country Club, 1401 W. Lake St., was broken into just before midnight Sept. 6 and a purse stolen. The theft and damage were estimated at $500.

• A vehicle parked at the Cadillac Ranch, 1175 W. Lake St., was broken into around 12:20 a.m. Sept. 6 and a purse stolen. The theft and damage were estimated at $425.

• Someone took several bottles of hard liquor Sept. 6 out of the snack shop at the Bartlett Hills Golf Course, 800 Oneida Ave.

• Two men stole a video camera and MP3 player around 1 p.m. Sept. 7 from Radio Shack, 819 Route 59. Theft was estimated at $400.

• Juan L. Flores, 19, 5023 Weber Drive, Rolling Meadows, was arrested around 1:05 a.m. Sept. 7 at Lake and Old Lake streets and charged with zero tolerance driving under the influence and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. His court date is Oct. 10.

• Someone stole four sets of hot/cold water faucet push knobs and a faucet from the handicapped sink in the boys' washroom at Eastview Middle School, 321 Oak Ave. The thefts took place in May but were reported Sept. 8; the loss was estimated at $200.

• Thomas M. Schiferl, 27, 810 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bartlett, was arrested around 11 p.m. Sept. 7 at Stearns Road and Route 59 and charged with possession of a controlled substance. A court date was not available.

• Three homes on Veronica Circle were hit with thievery Sept 6. A gas grill was stolen from one driveway; a boys' bicycle from a front yard, and a portable DVD player and TV screen were taken out of an unlocked vehicle. Total loss was estimated at $680.

Hanover Park

• A BMX bike was stolen out of a garage on the 7000 block of Hawthorne Lane around 9:50 p.m. Sept. 8.

• A Dodge Sprinter on the 2000 block of Narcissus Avenue was vandalized around 10 a.m. Sept. 7. A damage estimate was not available.

• Joseph Xie, 46, 33219 W. Dunham, Wayne, was arrested around 9 a.m. Sept. 6 on the 4700 block of Whitney and charged with battery and criminal trespass. A court date was not available.

• Luis Escobar, 17, 5555 Court A, Hanover Park, was arrested around 3:30 p.m. Sept. 5 after a traffic stop at Catalina and Court A and charged with possession of marijuana. The driver, Wilfredo Berrios, 19, 5571 Court H, Hanover Park, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license. Court dates were not available.

• Merchandise was stolen from Ultra Foods, 7580 Barrington Road, around 6 p.m. Sept. 3. A loss estimate was not available.

• A vehicle on the 5400 block of Arlington was broken into and a GPS unit stolen around 5 a.m. Sept. 2. A damage and loss estimate was not available.

• Tires on five vehicles were punctured overnight Sept. 1-2 on the 1600 block of Oak Avenue. A damage estimate was not available.

• Raul Duran, 18, and Juan C. Iarriola-Trejo, 19, both of 6810 Plum Tree Lane, Hanover Park, and Francisco J. Rodriguez, 20, 2320 Glendale Terrace, Hanover Park, were arrested around 2 a.m. Sept. 2 on the 2100 block of Walnut and charged with burglary and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Victor Aguilar, 18, 7411 Astor Ave., Apt. 1B, Hanover Park, was arrested and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. Court dates were not available.

• A student bit a teacher around 1 p.m. Sept. 2 at Ontarioville School, 2100 Elm.

Hoffman Estates

• A 2006 Ford Escape parked in a store lot on the 2300 block of Lakewood Boulevard was broken into between 9:30 and 11:15 p.m. Sept. 5; a purse, digital camera and two flash drives altogether worth about $320 were stolen.

• Luis A. Salgado, 26, 1622 Tahoe Circle Drive, Wheeling, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Sept. 6 and charged with battery; police say he punched two men in the face at a sports bar on the 1700 block of West Algonquin Road. One man was treated for a bloody nose at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. A court date was not available.

• Someone stole a purse out of a 2004 Ford Explorer parked in a condominium lot on Rebecca Drive between 1 and 2:54 p.m. Sept. 8. The loss was estimated at $70.

• Someone stole a black waist pouch out of an unlocked locker in an employee break room at a store on the 2600 block of North Sutton Road, between 3 and 7 p.m. Sept. 7. The valuables inside the pouch were estimated at $100.

Schaumburg

• Brian Robert Heilgeist, 28, 137 White Oak Court, Schaumburg, was arrested around 12:45 a.m. Sept. 7 at Higgins Road east of Meacham Road and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is Sept. 22.

• Ramiro Villafana-Santiago, 39, 1526 Silver Lake, Palatine, was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with retail theft from JCPenney in Woodfield Mall. His court date is Oct. 9.

• Jon M. Carpenter, 39, 33 W. Higgins Road, South Barrington, was arrested Sept. 5 at the police department, and charged with battery of an insulting nature; he is accused of inappropriatley touching a 12-year-old girl. His court date is Oct. 9.

• Juan Hernandez-Palomares, 63, 1968 W. Algonquin Road, was arrested Sept. 7 and charged with retail theft from JCPenney in Woodfield Mall. His court date is Oct. 16.

• Marcus Bruce Redburg, 17, 7282 Blackhawk Drive, Elgin, Alexander Jean Zewde, 17, 664 Park St., Elgin, and Steven Thomas Edwards, 17, 316 Gifford St., Elgin, were arrested Sept. 7 and charged with retail theft from JCPenney in Woodfield Mall. Their court date is Oct. 10.

• Jessica Sanchez, 21, and Leticia Sanchez, 17, both of 7500 N. Elmhurst Road, Des Plaines, were arrested Sept. 6 and charged with retail theft from JCPenney in Woodfield Mall. Their court date is Sept. 24.

• Bojan Kokanovic, 21, 924 Casey Court, Schaumburg, and Krystal Marie Gorzycki, 18, 2232 Manico Drive, Crest Hill, were arrested Sept. 6 and charged with retail theft from JCPenney in Woodfield Mall. Their court date is Oct. 10.

• A 1987 Honda Accord parked at Woodfield Mall was burglarized between 4:15 and 6:50 p.m. Sept. 5; the thief reached through an open window, unlocked the door and stole a purse. The theft was estimated at $400.

• A 1999 Acura on the 900 block of East Higgins Road was broken into between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 7; a purse and cell phone were stolen. The theft and damage were estimated at $600.

Streamwood

• A generator was stolen from a construction site on the 1100 block of East Avenue between noon Aug. 29 and 9 a.m. Sept. 5. A loss estimate was not available.

• An unlocked 2005 Ford Escape on the 500 block of South Park Boulevard was burglarized overnight Sept. 2-3; a portable tool kit and a CD case with 10 CDs was stolen. A loss estimate was not available.

• Mario G. Cordova, 19, 1987 Georgetown Lane, Hoffman Estates, was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with retail theft from Wal-Mart, 850 S. Barrington Road. His court date is Oct. 1.

• A black and green boys BMX bicycle, worth about $250, was taken from outside Sunnydale School, 716 Sunnydale Blvd., around 7:50 p.m. Sept. 5.

• A boy reportedly stole another boy's BMX bike around 8 p.m. Sept. 5 at Park Boulevard and Manor Drive. Police say the bike's owner asked the second kid to watch his bike for a few minutes, but when he turned around the kid was riding away with it. The missing bike is white, with one white tire and one black tire, yellow and white checkered hand grips and a skull and cross bones sticker near the right hand grip.

• Mohanakumari K. Naidu, 51, 12 Mohawk, Streamwood, was arrested Sept. 6 and charged with retail theft from Sam's Club, 900 S. Barrington Road. Her court date is Sept. 25.
