Folk Music & Storytelling Fest, Geneva: The 32nd annual festival is 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Island Park, downtown Geneva. An Old-Time Community Barn Dance from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, followed by ghost stories from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Suggested admission: $15 per day for 12 and up; $10 for teens and seniors. Buffalo Grove Days: Buffalo Grove's big Labor Day weekend festival, through Monday at the Buffalo Grove Municipal Campus, 50 Raupp Blvd. Food tent, beer garden, carnival, entertainment, arts & crafts, parade at 1 p.m. Sunday, fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Sunday and special events for persons with disabilities and their families.
