Blood Pressure Testing: The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center will offer blood pressure testing and education for adults at no charge to Lake County residents at the following times and places:

Rally for Autism: 9 a.m. Aug. 16, Independence Grove Forest Preserve, on Route 137, east of Route 21, Libertyville. The event will include a 5K run, a 5K family fun walk and a Kids' Goody Grab. On-site registration will start at 7 a.m. Proceeds will fund organizations that serve the autism community and autism research. The cost is $25 to register for the 5K run or walk, and the Kids' Goody Grab is free.
