Northwest Travelers Baseball Tryouts (10U -14U):

Northwest Travelers Baseball will conduct tryouts for the 2009 teams at Harper College in Palatine. Players need only attend one date but can attend as many as they would like. Preregistration is not required, register on day of tryout. Tryout dates and times are:

• 2009 10U (players may not turn 11 before May 1, 2009)

Chicago Shamrox Hot Rox Dance Team auditions: 8:15 a.m. Aug. 9, Holiday Inn Northwest, Elgin. The auditions will have two rounds. Girls advancing past the first round of tryouts will perform in front of a live studio audience and be judged by a panel of celebrity judges.
