Blood Pressure Testing: The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center will offer blood pressure testing and education for adults at no charge to Lake County residents at the following times and places:

• Foss Park District, 1730 Lewis Ave., North Chicago, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 13

• Zion Piggly Wiggly, 3367 Sheridan Road, Zion, 9-11 a.m. Aug. 15

• Department of Public Aid, 3235 Belvidere Road, Waukegan, 9-10 a.m. Aug. 18

• Faith Tabernacle Church, 2801 30th St., Zion, 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 20.

• Waukegan Post Office, 326 N. Genesee, Waukegan, 9-11 a.m. Aug. 25.

Immunization Clinics for Children: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays; 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 1-6 p.m. Thursdays; and 9-11 a.m. the second Saturday of each month, Lake County Health Department Belvidere Medical Building Annex, 2303 Dodge Avenue, Waukegan. Children can receive all routine childhood immunizations. The cost of an immunization is $10, but no one is denied services due to inability to pay. Parents are asked to bring their children's past immunization records. If a child has an immunization letter from a school nurse, it should also be brought to the clinic. No appointment necessary. For all levels and abilities, although participants should be able to raise and lower themselves to the floor with some confidence.
