Immunization Clinics for Children: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays; 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 1-6 p.m. Thursdays; and 9-11 a.m. the second Saturday of each month, Lake County Health Department Belvidere Medical Building Annex, 2303 Dodge Avenue, Waukegan. The cost of an immunization is $10, but no one is denied services due to inability to pay. No appointment necessary. Girls' Self-Defense Workshop: 1-4 p.m. July 26, Vernon Area Public Library District, 300 Olde Half Day Road, Lincolnshire. Self-defense techniques are demonstrated and girls ages 13-19 practice simple self-defense moves. Those under 18 must submit a parental permission slip before attending the program.
