Algonquin

• A McHenry man was accused of drunken driving at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Route 31 and Rakow Road, police said. Pablo Vivanco Lorenzo, 25, of 4518 Garden Quarter Road #37, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol concentration level of 0.08 or over, improper lane use and violation of the minimum speed limit, police said. Lorenzo posted $300 bond and was given a July 9 court date in Woodstock.

• A Crystal Lake woman was accused of drunken driving at 10:45 p.m. Sunday at Berg Street and Algonquin Road, police said. Eileen P. Kozlowski, 44, of 629 Chardonnay Lane, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, no proof of insurance and failure to notify the secretary of state of an address change, police said. Kozlowski posted $300 bond and was given a July 9 court date in Woodstock.

Carpentersville

• A Carpentersville man was arrested and nearly a kilo of cocaine seized at 9:53 p.m. Friday on the 100 block of Kennedy Drive, police said. James Douglas Williamson, 22, of 105 Del Rio Road, was charged with the possession of a controlled substance after more than 900 grams of cocaine were seized, police said. Williamson was held in the Kane County jail on $75,000 bond with a June 12 court date at the Kane County Judicial Center.

Elgin

• An Elgin man tried to talk a cop out of giving him a ticket at 3:30 p.m. Sunday on the 500 block of Dundee Avenue and became abusive and threatened the cop after he was refused, police said. Luis A. Tovar, 1397 Cimarron Court, Elgin, was charged with intimidation, driving while license suspended, sound amplification and open alcohol in a vehicle, police said. Tovar was held in the Kane County jail on $7,500 bond with a June 16 court date at the Kane County Judicial Center.

• A Bartlett man was accused of moving out of an Elgin apartment on May 21 and stealing a 42-inch television set, an acoustic guitar, a computer monitor and a titanium wrist watch, police said. Sean F. Trejo, 20, of 268 Cleburn, Bartlett, was charged with felony burglary, police said. Trejo was held in the Kane County jail on $1,500 bond with a June 16 court date at the Kane County Judicial Center.

Sleepy Hollow

• Police arrested a man at 10 a.m. Friday who was wanted on an outstanding McHenry County warrant. Joseph Honer, 40, of 532 Nunda Trail, Crystal Lake, was charged with failure to appear in court driving on an expired license, according to a report. Honer posted a $500 bond and was given a June 30 court date in Woodstock.

• Police arrested a woman at 12:39 p.m. Friday who was wanted on two warrants. Angela M. Argomaniz, age unknown, of 927 Locust Drive #1D, Sleepy Hollow, was charged with failure to appear in court for traffic offenses in DuPage and Boone counties. DuPage County deputies picked up Argomaniz on their no-bond warrant and her bond on the Boone County warrant was $822.
