Barrington
• Services: 7:30 a.m. Monday White Cemetery on Cuba Road; 8 a.m. at St. Paul Cemetery, East Main Street; 8:30 a.m., Barrington Center, Sutton Road and Route 68; 9 a.m. service Union Cemetery on Route 62; 10 a.m. Downtown Barrington. Conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Barrington Memorial Post 7706. Call Wayne (847) 382-4102.
• Procession: 10 a.m. Monday: Solemn ceremony by Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion from Cook, Park and Station streets with a 10:30 step-off time north on Cook Street, west on Main Street, left on Dundee Avenue to Evergreen Cemetery, where there will be a short service. Bartlett
• Walk and Remembrance: 10 a.m. Monday, Bartlett Park, Oak and North avenues, American Legion flag retirement ceremony; 10:30 a.m. veterans, Scouts, civic groups, bagpipers line up for walk to Bartlett Cemetery, steps off at 11 a.m. Brief program at cemetery. Hoffman Estates-Schaumburg
• Cost of Freedom exhibit: 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday -Monday, Alexian Field, 1999 S. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg. • Parade: 9:45 a.m. Monday; starts at Cornell Avenue and Eric Drive, ends at the Veterans Memorial in Community Park, Palatine Road and Northwest Highway

Streamwood
• POW/MIA candlelight vigil: 8 p.m. Friday, Streamwood Veterans Memorial, 301 E. Irving Park Road, next to village hall
• 24-hour vigil guard: 11 a.m. Saturday-11 a.m. Sunday at Veterans Memorial.
• Ceremony: 11 a.m. Sunday, includes Lima Lima fly-over; parking at Tefft Middle School, just east of village hall on Irving Park Road, with shuttle bus service from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (630) 736-3816.
