Woodstock cyclist hit by truck in Crystal Lake

Phillip A. Seegers, 45, of 65 Dole Ave., Crystal Lake, was ticketed for failure to signal after a cyclist crashed into the passenger side of his 2002 Chevy Silverado at about 6:17 a.m. Friday morning in the 0-99 block of Dole Avenue, police said.

The cyclist, Matt A. Thuma, 42, of 1695 Wicker St., Woodstock, was riding his Giant Cadex road bike work.

Thuma, who was wearing a helmet, was treated and released from Memorial Medical Center, police said.
