Blue Cheese Dressing
4-6 tablespoons buttermilk
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
4 ounces crumbled blue cheese, such as Maytag (about ¿ cup)
2 tablespoons grated onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Mix buttermilk, mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth. Stir in cheese, onion, garlic and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Keep refrigerated up to 5 days.
Makes about 1½ cups.
