Best & Brightest

• Ward Brady of Streamwood graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Elmhurst College at the midyear commencement ceremony held Feb. 10.

• John Kaiser, son of John and Lori Kaiser of Hanover Park, was one 20 student-athletes at Monmouth College recently named to the Midwest Conference All-Academic team for the winter sports season. Kaiser, a sophomore accounting major, earned the honor while a member of the Fighting Scots men's swim team. To be named to the MWC's All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have completed at least one year at the institution, carry a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and earn a varsity letter in that sport.

• Erin Linsenmeyer, daughter of Patricia Linsenmeyer, West Chicago, and Timothy Linsenmeyer, Bartlett, earned placement on the dean's honor list at Agnes Scott College, a liberal arts and sciences college for women in Atlanta, Ga. To receive this award she had semester GPA of at least 3.7. Linsenmeyer is a graduate of Dunlap Community High.

• Patricia Lorrai of Bartlett graduated with a master of business administration degree from Elmhurst College at the midyear commencement ceremony held Feb. 10.

• Charles Palisoc of Bartlett graduated with a bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College at the midyear commencement ceremony held Feb. 10.
