Kirk Homes sponsors workshop
Bring your "can do" attitude and Kirk Homes will help you buy the home of your dreams at the "Get Movin" workshop at 7 p.m. on Monday at Apple Creek Estates single-family welcome center.
The workshop will educate prospective home buyers about the details of the innovative "Get Movin" program as well as mortgage programs being offered by Kirk Homes' preferred lender. In addition, the workshop will cover springtime special opportunities available on Express Homes for quick delivery and homes to be built at Apple Creek Estates.
"There is great pent-up demand for homes yet there are also some misperceptions and concerns among prospective home buyers these days," said Janey Amidei, vice president of sales and marketing for Kirk Homes. "This is an opportune time to purchase a home, with low interest rates and a willingness on the part of home builders to work with buyers to craft a beneficial transaction. This workshop is designed to educate buyers so they can make a sound purchasing decision. Experts will be on hand to provide individualized attention to buyers' specific needs, and participants will gain an understanding of the amenities offered at Apple Creek Estates."
Regina Castle, senior sales manager at Apple Creek Estates, will give a presentation on the Kirk Homes' "Get Movin" program which is designed to give buyers more flexibility in obtaining just the home they want, with amenities and finishes suited to their individual preferences at an attractive price.
Cris Sallmen of Century 21-First Class in Schaumburg will explain the several elements of the program, which addresses both the buying and selling aspects of the transaction. In addition, she will offer practical tips to assist buyers in making their homes for sale as marketable as possible.
Also contributing to the workshop presentations is Mike Dote of Platinum Mortgage, the Kirk Homes preferred lender. Dote will advise buyers about the many safe, accessible and affordable mortgage programs available.
Apple Creek Estates will include 746 single-family homes, 370 townhouses, seven miles of bike paths, three parks and new elementary and middle schools within the community.
Base prices start in the mid-$200,000s for single-family homes, and six single-family model homes are open for viewing. Three townhouse plans are also offered, priced from the low-$170,000s.
