Exhibit celebrates Oak Brook's 50th
A preview reception for the exhibit "The Oak Brook Public Library Celebrates Commercial Oak Brook" will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the library, 600 Oak Brook Road.
The exhibit, which celebrates Oak Brook's 50th anniversary, will be on display at the library through August. It includes architectural photographs by local artist Conrad Truedson that show important historic and business structures in the village.

Jazz groups will perform at Driscoll
The DC Jazz/Rock Ensemble and the DC Chorus will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Driscoll Catholic High School, 555 N. Lombard Road, Addison. The concert will include selections from artists such as Ray Charles, Santana, One Republic, Leona Lewis and more. Admission is free.
4-H clubs benefit from garage sale
The fourth annual 4-H Foundation Garage Sale will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the 4-H building at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 W. Manchester Road, Wheaton. Proceeds will benefit the foundation, which provides financial support to local 4-H programs.
UK film showing Sunday at library

Pool pass discounts apply until May 10
Villa Park Recreation is selling passes for Jefferson and Lufkin Pools at the Iowa Community Center, 338 N. Iowa Ave.; the Community Recreation Building, 320 E. Wildwood and on its Web site, www.vprd.org. The cost is $25 for residents until May 10 and $29 after. New and replacement passes require a photo that must be taken at the Iowa Community Center. The DuPage Senior Citizens Council is seeking volunteers for its Meals-On-Wheels program.
