Best & Brightest

• Emily Kay Pasch, daughter of John and Sharon Pasch, Lake Zurich, was named to the 2007 fall honor list at Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, for having at least a 3.2 grade-point average. Pasch is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering.

• Abbi Kaye Huderle, daughter of Todd and Denise Huderle, Lake Zurich, was named to the 2007 Athletic Director's Honor Roll at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, for achieving at 3.0 grade-point average during spring or fall. Huderle, a senior on the rowing team is majoring in history and graduated from Lake Zurich Senior High School.

• Sara Rose Weitzel of Mundelein, a student in the College of Business Administration at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, was named to the President's List for the 2007 fall semester for achieving a 4.0 grade-point average.

• Daniel P. Schneider of Libertyville, a student at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, received honors for achieving a grade-point average of 3.50 to 3.74 during the 2007 fall semester.

• Meghan Maureen Heatherly and James Mathew Kastens, both of Hawthorn Woods, were named to the Department of Communication Honor Roll for the fall 2007 semester at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. To qualify, students must a attain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

• Elmhurst College named the following students to the fall Dean's List for achieving a grade-point average of at least 3.75.

Ivanhoe: Natalie Zizzo.
