Networking event: The Wheeling/Prospect Heights Area and Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods chambers of commerce invite local businesses to a networking event from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Deerfield Public Library, 920 Waukegan Road, Deerfield.
Businesspeople are asked to come prepared to talk about their businesses and to bring plenty of business cards. There is no cots to attend, but R.S.V.P. to the chamber and bring a bag lunch.
Multi-Chamber Networking: The chamber invites local businesses to a Multi-Chamber Networking Extravaganza from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest, 3400 W. Euclid Ace., Arlington Heights.
Network with members of 14 different chambers: Arlington Heights, Barrington Area, Buffalo Grove Area, Cary Grove, Des Plaines, Glencoe, Grayslake, Greater Lincolnshire, Hoffman Estates, Mount Prospect, Northfield, Palatine Area, Rolling Meadows and Wheeling/Prospect Heights Area.
Businesspeople are asked to come prepared to talk about their businesses and to bring plenty of business cards. The cost for the event is $35. Tabletop exhibitor area is limited to chamber members only, for a $200 fee, first come, first-served. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available.
Meet Dennis Hastert: Meet the longest serving Republican Speaker of the House in American history, J. Dennis Hastert, and network with leading members of the business community across northern Illinois from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. April 10 at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest, 3400 W. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and the breakfast buffet will be open from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. with the program immediately following.

There is a minimum contribution of $50. Checks should be made payable to Chamber PAC. All contributions will go directly to fund the efforts of NIBAC and Chamber PAC to advocate on behalf of the Illinois business community.
Networking Group: The chamber invites local businesses to the Networking Advantage Group from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. April 10 at the chamber office. All attendees will be able to introduce their companies to the group at each meeting and networking tips will be shared. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served. Networking After Hours: The Wheeling/Prospect Heights Area and Buffalo Grove Area chambers of commerce invite local businesses to Networking After Hours with Harris Bank from 5 to 7 p.m. April 17, at Harris Bank, 500 W. Half Day Road, Buffalo Grove. Have plenty of business cards on hand. There is no cost to participate in the raffle sponsored by Harris Bank, and free appetizers and beverages will be provided.
Staff Appreciation Lunch: The chamber will give local businesspeople an opportunity to reward their employees by bringing them to the chamber's annual staff appreciation lunch, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. April 23 at Tramonto's Steak and Seafood, 601 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling. The cost is $30 for members and their guests, $35 for nonmembers. The reservation deadline is April 20.
