Nonprofit groups sought
Not-for-profits have a new way to participate in Lombard's annual Lilac Time Art and Craft Fair on May 4. Groups can either obtain a free space for a children's game or activity in the Kids Zone area or can pay $65 for a space in the crafters area where they can sell hand-made items. "This allows non-profits a little more flexibility with their participation," said Yvonne Invergo, executive director of the Lombard Chamber of Commerce & Industry. About 100 crafters already have applied for a spot at the fair. For details or to apply, call the chamber at (630) 627-5040.
