PR firm promotes Palatine man

Palatine resident Jason Abrahams was promoted to account executive, from assistant account executive, at KemperLesnik, a Chicago-based public relations and events agency.

• Attorney Paul L. Price of Hepler Broom's Chicago office was awarded the Super Lawyer designation for the fourth consecutive year by Law & Politics magazine. The magazine selects attorneys based upon peer recognition, professional achievement and independent research.

Price, of Arlington Heights, was selected in the defense of personal injury, general business litigation and alternative dispute resolution designations.

• Fifth Third Bank promoted Demetra Papaioannou to banking center manager in Des Plaines, to lead the day-to-day operations of the banking center on Metropolitan Way.

Papaioannou, previously served as assistant banking center manager at the bank's Northbrook-Deerfield banking center. She is an active member of the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce and Hellenic Professional Society of Illinois.

Additionally, Teresa Dasse was appointed to relationship manager at Fifth Third Bank's Des Plaines banking center.

Dasse, who was previously a retail associate, will provide bank customers access to banking services, home loans, investment and insurance services and small business banking solutions.

• Schaumburg resident Jeffry Trad, vice president and manager of portfolio management at Amcore Bank, Rockford, was promoted to senior vice president, to oversee the portfolio management department.

Trad, who has 20 years of progressive financial management and leadership experience, joined Amcore in April 2007. He is working on a certified financial planner certification and is a member of the American Economic Association, CFA Institute and the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago.

• South Barrington resident Kelley Strout was promoted to account manager for Cadbury Adams Corporation, Houston, Texas.

Strout, a 2002 Barrington High School graduate, earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, communication and Spanish from the University of Iowa. She began her career with Cadbury in Nashville, Tenn.
