Fountains benefits from Shop 'n Share

The Fountains at Crystal Lake, a Sunrise Senior Living Community, have announced they will hold a Shop and Share fund-raising program March 24-26.

"By shopping at Jewel-Osco on one of those days, five percent of the total purchases, excluding tax will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association," said Michael Ross, Executive Director of The Fountains at Crystal Lake.

The Fountains at Crystal Lake and Jewel-Osco are partnering to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research through the Shop and Share Program. Anyone interested in helping The Fountains at Crystal Lake by shopping at Jewel-Osco on those dates will need a "Shop and Share Identification Slip" and should call Stacey Engstrom at (815) 477-6581 to obtain a slip before shopping.

Summer Job fair at Cary Park District

The Cary Park District is holding a Summer Job Fair.

Adult and teen summer seasonal positions available for camp counselors, youth athletic instructors, marketing and communication support, pool staff, lifeguards, concessions and various other positions within the Park District.

Pick up job announcements and applications, drop off resumes, ask questions, and meet Park District Staff.

Parents are welcome to attend to pick up information for teens who are away at school or unable to attend.

The fair will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road, Cary.
